BioI was spawned a blue-noser from eclectic UK parents. On traveling many thousands of kilometers before my first birthday, we settled in the most beautiful city in the world. It was here that my genetic pre-disposition towards clouds and rain was elevated to the point where three days of sunshine in a row make me distinctly uncomfortable.
I moved out when I was 17 after an interesting home life during high school. After a period of searching that consumed the next 5 years, I found a place and person I was comfortable with. I'm still there. I am the proud owner of a Bachelor of Education, triple minor of History, English and Learning Disabilities and am done with post-secondary school until I decide to do my Masters. I am gainfully employed with the Burnaby school district as a substitute Liar-to-Children, although that is taking a backseat to my son for the next little while. I am married to a wonderful man who helps to keep me level and we had our first child, Rhys Derek, on Monday, February 5th, 2007 at 4:51 am, weighing 7 lbs 15.5 oz. We recently bought a house in Ladner and I'm exceptionally content with life.
